Agatha Raisin's books are easy to read for French people.You don't need to have your dictionnary with you all the time.The story of Murderous Marriage is built as the previous ones.You don't have too much explanations of the Agatha's life before her arrival in the Costwolds.

Quel plaisir de voir Agatha préparer son mariage avec l'homme de sa vie James Lacey! Mais un événement va se produire pour gâcher la cérémonie. a partir de cette trame MCBeaton construit un roman policier plaisant agréable à lire. Il se lit facilement et donne envie de se plonger dans la suite . Il y a beaucoup d'humour dans cette histoire, profitez de l'été pour vous y plonger.

Ce tome est la suite directe du précédent. Voilà Agatha qui prépare son mariage avec James; tout est fin prêt, sa maison est vendue, le bonheur est à portée de main... mais quand Jimmy Raisin, le mari qu'elle croyait mort depuis longtemps, resurgit et gâche la cérémonie, et que James annule de ce fait le mariage, Agatha croit ne pas pouvoir tomber plus bas. Le meurtre de Jimmy ce même soir la lance dans sa plus dangereuse enquête.
