Un des meilleurs d'Agatha Raisin! Fatiguée de l'instabilité avec James Lacey et fuyant son village pour cacher sa calvitie, elle s'installe dans une station balnéaire typiquement anglaise. En effet son ancien coiffeur l'a shampouinée avec de la crème dépilatoire....Elle ira voir une sorcière qui sera assassinée ... Puis elle rencontrera enfin un autre homme calme sérieux et sincèrement amoureux.. Mais d'autres meurtres suivront et Agatha sera immédiatement aimantée par tous ces mystères.. Très bon livre

Une galerie de personnages originaux et une histoire solidement construite. Si les précédents volumes donnaient parfois quelques signes d'essoufflement, celui-ci est vraiment réussi et l'atmosphère en est réellement prenante. Une voyante-guérisseuse est assassinée dans une station balnéaire en plein hiver. Agatha Raisin qui, une fois de plus, fuit son cher James Lacey, séjourne dans un hôtel où se retrouvent chaque année d'étranges pensionnaires : lequel est coupable? Il est préférable de lire les volumes dans l'ordre et, ici, indispensable d'avoir lu The wizzard of Evesham.
